LCS Foundation Opens Applications July 1 for Ed and Sue Kenny Scholarship Applications to Support Future Senior Living Leaders

The LCS Foundation is pleased to announce applications for the 2026 Ed and Sue Kenny Scholarship will open on July 1, 2026. This national scholarship supports undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about, and actively pursuing, a career in senior living.

The Ed and Sue Kenny Scholarship is designed to promote education, leadership development, and professional growth for students committed to serving older adults. The scholarship is open to qualifying students across the country, with applications due by November 1, 2026.

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Current sophomore, junior or senior standing
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Commitment to senior lifestyle services
• Completion of an internship, rotation, or mentorship program in senior living or related services

All applications must be submitted online by the November 1 deadline. The LCS Foundation Professional Development Committee will review submissions and select the scholarship recipient on or before January 2027.
