LCS Foundation Ed & Sue Kenny Scholarship Award Application Form

The Ed & Sue Kenny Scholarship was designed to promote the education and professional development of undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in senior lifestyle services. The scholarship is open to qualified students across the country.

The 2025 scholarship cycle opens July 1, 2025. 
All scholarship applications are due by Nov. 1, 2025.

Scholarship Criteria

  • 3.0 GPA
  • Soph/Junior/Senior Class or Graduate Student
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Demonstrated commitment to senior lifestyle services
  • Completed internship, rotations, or mentor program in senior lifestyle services
  • Note: Current LCS employees (with the exception of interns) and dependents of LCS officers are not eligible for consideration.

Scholarship Deadline

  • The LCS Foundation will open applications for the 2025-26 academic year on July 1, 2025. The deadline for applications is November 1, 2025.

Scholarship Checklist

  • Completed application
  • Letters of recommendation (minimum of two): One from a college/university professor and one from a supervisor or leader who has been involved with the candidate's internship, rotation, or mentor program in senior lifestyle services
