LCS Foundation Ed & Sue Kenny Scholarship Award Application Form

The Ed & Sue Kenny Scholarship was designed to promote the education and professional development of undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in senior lifestyle services. The scholarship is open to qualified students across the country.

The 2026 scholarship cycle opens July 1, 2026. 
All scholarship applications are due by Nov. 1, 2026. 

Relatives of LCS officers are not eligible to apply.
Employees who are eligible for the LCS Tuition Reimbursement Program are not eligible to apply.

Scholarship Criteria

  • 3.0 GPA
  • Soph/Junior/Senior Class or Graduate Student
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Demonstrated commitment to senior lifestyle services
  • Completed internship, rotations, or mentor program in senior lifestyle services
  • Note: Relatives of LCS officers are not eligible to apply. Employees who are eligible for the LCS Tuition Reimbursement Program are not eligible to apply. 

Scholarship Deadline

  • All scholarship applications for the 2026-27 academic year are due by November 1, 2026. 

Scholarship Checklist

  • Completed application
  • Letters of recommendation (minimum of two): One from a college/university professor and one from a supervisor or leader who has been involved with the candidate's internship, rotation, or mentor program in senior lifestyle services
