LCS Foundation Raises $19,000 during Foundation Awareness Month

The LCS Foundation raised $19,000 during its LCS Foundation Awareness Month, held May 1-31, at LCS  communities across the country. The month-long  campaign included information sessions and fundraisers to raise awareness and funding to benefit the LCS Foundation in support of its mission of service to others.

“Celebrating LCS Foundation Month was a wonderful way to recognize the impact of our mission and the generosity that makes it possible,” said Scott Doherty, LCS Foundation Fundraising Chair. “We hope this spotlight on our work encourages continued partnership and investment in programs that create meaningful change.”

All funds raised for the LCS Foundation support initiatives that directly impact the senior living industry, including:

• Supporting the research and work toward Alzheimer’s first survivor;
• Developing future leaders in the senior housing and care profession; and
• Providing an Emergency Relief Fund for LCS employees.
