LCS Foundation Raises More Than $10,000 during Inaugural Foundation Awareness Week

The LCS Foundation raised more than $10,000 during its inaugural LCS Foundation Awareness Week, held April 7-11. The event included educational sessions, events, and fundraisers to raise awareness and funds to benefit the LCS Foundation in support of its mission of service to others.
"The LCS Foundation Awareness Week was an exciting opportunity to highlight the important work of the Foundation,” said Elisa Baptiste, LCS Foundation Board Chair. “By shining a light on our mission and key initiatives, we hope to continue to increase understanding of our work and inspire ongoing support for these programs that are truly making an impact in the lives of those we serve.”
All funds raised for the LCS Foundation support initiatives that directly impact the senior living industry, including:
- Scholarships and partnerships to develop future leaders in the senior housing and care profession.
- Alzheimer’s care and research.
- Grants for the development of additional Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification classes at LCS managed communities.
- Supporting LCS employees in times of crises through the Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) program.
