LCS Foundation Scholarship Awarded to Northwood University Student

Aug 4, 2022
Scholarship recipient Jillian Krawczak plans to pursue health care management career

Northwood University (NU) has announced Jillian Krawczak as the recipient of the LCS Foundation University Scholarship. Krawczak is a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in health care management with a minor in cybersecurity. After graduation, she will continue her MBA studies at the DeVos Graduate School at Northwood University.

In addition to her classes, Krawczak is a team coordinator at ProMedica Hospice. She competes with the Northwood University Women’s Varsity Softball team and the Midland Lady Explorers Travel Softball.

Krawczak’s high school and collegiate sports both required physical therapy and based on these experiences, she selected a career that would help others. “The people I worked with during therapy made a personal impact on my life. I want to learn more about the administrative aspects of health-related organizations so my career can have a similar impact.”

The LCS Foundation partnership with Northwood University supports the education of students pursuing degrees in the senior living and care profession. Recipients are chosen by the NU Scholarship Selection Committee guided by principles endorsed by the LCS Foundation. Other schools where LCS Foundation scholarships are in place include Georgetown University, the University of Northern Iowa, and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
